OVERVIEW
Grade 12 Science is a course offered by the National Examination Board (NEB) in Nepal as part of the higher secondary education curriculum. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the various branches of science, including physics, chemistry, and biology.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including basic principles and laws of science, scientific method, and experimental design. In physics, students will study topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, wave motion, and electricity. In chemistry, students will study topics such as chemical reactions, chemical bonding, and the properties of matter. In biology, students will study topics such as cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, and ecology.
In addition to theoretical concepts, the course also provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge through laboratory experiments, investigations, and fieldwork. This will help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as hands-on laboratory skills.
The course is designed to prepare students for further studies in science, engineering, and related fields, as well as for entry-level positions in scientific and technical fields.
